A New Tradition Begins: A Winter’s Night Shines Bright in Calgary
Calgary’s newest holiday tradition has officially arrived, and what a debut it was.
On November 22, Luna Child & Youth Advocacy Centre welcomed the community to the very first A Winter’s Night, an evening filled with laughter, music, and holiday cheer. From the moment the doors opened, there was a sense that something special was unfolding, something that would become a meaningful tradition for years to come.
More than 500 voices came together in festive harmony, creating an atmosphere that was both joyful and deeply connected. The evening was brought to life by the incredible talents of Jamie Serafi, whose energy and musical magic lit up the room, and Michelle Morgan, who filled the stage with warmth, heart, and genuine holiday spirit. Together, they helped create an unforgettable experience that resonated with everyone in attendance.
But beyond the music and celebration, A Winter’s Night was about community. It was about coming together to support children, youth, and families, while sharing in the joy and hope that the holiday season brings.
To everyone who joined us: thank you. Your presence made our inaugural event truly special, and we are so grateful to have shared this moment with you. This first A Winter’s Night is one we’ll all remember, not just for the performances, but for the spirit of togetherness that filled the room.
We invite you to check out the video from the evening and relive the magic of this beautiful night.
We can’t wait to welcome you back next year.
