Child Space Coordinator
This position is responsible for, and is stationed at, the front desk in the Luna Child Space. As part of the Victim Services team, the Child Space Coordinator represents the purpose and values of the organization and works directly with children, youth, families, and visitors attending Luna.
As the first point of contact, the Child Space Coordinator ensures that all individuals attending Luna receive a warm and welcoming introduction to the Centre, and smooth connections to their Multidisciplinary Team (MDT).
Child Life Specialist (Children’s Support Specialist)
The primary responsibility of this position is to promote social, cognitive and developmental activities, promote both physical and emotional health and thereby minimize the potential stress and trauma children and their families may experience as a result of the abuse. He/she may work directly with children as they wait for their respective team and design the programs and activities during this period which foster a family centered approach to practice.
