Luna at the 20th Annual Miskanawah Friendship Round Dance

Over the weekend, Luna was a proud sponsor and vendor at the 20th annual Miskanawah Friendship Round Dance, held at the Grey Eagle Event Centre.

This annual gathering was a powerful celebration of culture, connection, and healing. We had the opportunity to engage with community members, strengthen relationships, and honour the resilience and strength of Indigenous children, youth, and families.

Luna's Youth Advisory Council, as well as some of our policing, child protection and education partners, were present at the event to help strengthen ties with the community and provide information about the services we offer.

We are grateful to Miskanawah for hosting this beautiful event and for their ongoing work to nurture community wellness through cultural connection.
